This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Capital Access in one of the ten centers throughout the nation. Serves as the supervisor, providing direct support to the Director of OCRM. Is responsible for leadership, planning, project coordination, organizing and leading program initiatives for the Agency.
Duties
Supervision:
Plans work to be accomplished by employees, sets and adjusts short term priorities and prepares schedules of completion of projects.
Assigns work based on priorities, selective consideration on the difficulty and requirements of assignments and capabilities of employee.
Review and Oversight:
Provides expert-level technical financial guidance and administrative direction to contract team members and monitoring the overall performance of contract analysts/reviewers.
Develops narrative and/or statistical reports that relate review findings for dissemination to managers.
Provides agency-wide advisory, consultative, and technical recommendations for corrective actions or improvement to contract staff and operating managers at all levels of agency regarding issues that affect SBA's lender oversight programs.
Requirements

- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You may be required to serve a one year supervisory probationary period.
- This is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP).
- This is a non-bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
GS-14: One year of specialized experience to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the public or private sector: advices on work methods, practices and procedures while leading teams and/or staff in identifying to viable solutions; experience leading teams to identify, distribute and balance workloads among employees in accordance with established work flows; experience with lender oversight activities and using credit risk factors and/or commercial lending principles involved in loans guaranteed by the Federal activities within an organization. This must be clearly referenced on your resume.

TIME-IN-GRADE: If you are a current career or career-conditional federal employee applying for promotion under Merit Promotion you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks in positions at the next level lower than the position being filled.

Education may not be substituted for experience for this position.
