This position is located in the Emergency Preparedness Division, Security & Emergency Preparedness Directorate, Chief Operating Officer.
The selected applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.

Duties
This position is located in the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness. The incumbent is responsible for emergency preparedness staff training, exercises, plan review and development, incident response and recovery, and rotational on-call duty. Attends meetings and conferences as necessary.
Qualifications
Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
Ability to plan, organize, and manage a complex emergency preparedness program. **
Ability to perform emergency management training program functions. **
Ability to perform program evaluation and oversight functions. **
Ability to interact collaboratively with others.
Ability to communicate in writing.
Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
