You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) of NRD PHILADELPHIA.
Duties
You will establish communication with vendors to solicit pricing, shipping charges, other detailed information and charges or fees.
You will prepare travel orders and travel vouchers in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations.
You will arrange for maintenance, repair, or procurement of office equipment and supplies.
You will type correspondence, reports, studies, and messages in final form from rough drafts, notes or oral instructions for signature.
You will use an electronic travel system, such as Defense Travel System (DTS), to create travel documents.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing centralized purchase requests for specific, clearly defined supply items, equipment and services; 2) Assisting with the Government Travel Card Program and Defense Travel System (DTS) for assigned command members to include travel approval, voucher submission and reconciliation, and account monitoring; 3) Maintaining accurate and up to date records for all maintenance and sustainment actions for material condition readiness for an organization; 4) Preparing correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and other documents for leadership decision making.
