This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the work within the Post Payment Division of Payment Integrity and Resolution Services.The primary purpose of this position is to supervise a team who are responsible for analyzing, recording, and preparing payment and claim correspondence.
Duties
As a Post Payment Processing Supervisor, you will:
Plan and schedule ongoing time-sensitive work, adjust staffing levels based on allocations made at higher echelons, oversee the development of improved work methods and procedures, and provide information to support higher level decision-making.
Exercise complete authority in approving work plans for subordinate professional and technical employees.
Supervisory responsibilities include planning work and setting priorities of subordinates.
Assist in developing performance standards and evaluating work performance.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Planning and prioritizing work while ensuring deadlines are met; OR
Providing input related to policy changes, system enhancements, or procedural requirements; OR
Leading a team or managing a project to achieve specific objectives, products and services, or meet program goals; OR
Actively participating in meetings or conferences to assist with improvements.
