About the Position: This position serves as Program Manager for the automated Systems Branch AIS and supporting applications and modules with responsibility for exercising management and operations control over the assigned programs and activities.
Duties
Preparing plans, developing, designing and implement program data for special studies, directing team assignments, creating budgets and schedules, and various presentations.
Prepare contract documentation to ensure appropriate level of contract support is available supporting system software applications.
Provide program guidance and reviewing system directives for system changes, reasonableness of cost, conformance with criteria and compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
Provide briefing or presentations on system status or capabilities at meeting, conferences and workshops with all levels of user/customers/leaders to include senior managers, senior executive service members, and general officers.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) program/project management in developing budgets, reviewing and approving project costs and establishing schedules and changes; and 2) preparing contracting documents, such as performance work statements, scopes of work, independent government estimates, negotiating strategies, modifications, statement of objectives, requests for information and/or reviewing proposals for technical or cost requirements; and 3) management of military construction software tools for a project requiring planning, programming, development, design, construction, and construction cost estimating; 4) integrating customer and/or regulatory requirements making recommendations for change in software applications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
