Duties
You will perform a variety of administrative support services for the Division Head and subordinate staff.
You will be responsible for preparation and generation of correspondence and/or forms (e.g., letters, memorandums, e-mails, etc.) in accordance with guidelines of the organization.
You will review all personnel action packages for completeness and accuracy.
You will review and update extensive and often complex office procedures as well as analyze need for new procedures, independently determining approach and implementing processes, communicating any changes to branch assistants.
You will assist personnel with submission of travel authorizations and/or vouchers to ensure standardization/quality of travel procedures within the organization.
You will track time entry/approvals on a weekly basis, communicating changes in payroll deadlines, keeping up-to-date on time and attendance policies and tracking comp time/travel comp time/overtime forms/HUB requests.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
NG-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead the submission of travel authorizations and/or vouchers to ensure standardization/quality of travel procedures within the organization. Perform work of a general office support nature which encompasses a variety of different duties and responsibilities to include Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and the Defense Travel System (DTS).
NG-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
