Duties

Responsible for the accuracy of the final results generated by the TPIP (e.g., when and how much to supply). Responsible for updating TPIP master data and planning rules, calculating planning parameters (e.g., lead time, safety stock), generating exceptions, and modifying the TPIP. Develops and identifies services which must be procured to move products along the supply chain to the point of sale. Provides training to other Supply Planners. Monitors bulk fuel contracts and lift balances, ensures a minimum of 75%Iift during contract period. Plan fuel shipments and nominates Stock Transfers and vendor Purchase Request using EBS IS-Oil. Monitor fuel inventory levels for capitalized locations, as set in the Inventory Management Plan. Performs transportation duties and review transportation bills for accuracy using the Syncada system.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Lead Inventory Management Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Experience with inventory planning conducting special reviews to determine surge capability and industrial capacity for assigned programs. Experience leading technical evaluation teams evaluating contractor proposals. Experience determining requirements for funding and acquisition of services needed to move products through the supply chain to the point of sale. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
