This position is located in the Financial Systems Division, Financial Services Directorate, Chief Operating Officer. The position description number for this position is 395324. The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position. Relocation expenses will not be authorized for the person(s) selected under this vacancy announcement.

Duties

This position serves as a Financial Systems Analyst performing professional analyst work relating to the financial activities of the Financial Systems Division within the Financial Systems Directorate (FSD). The work requires the analysis, design and adaptation of automated financial management systems and/or financial reporting systems. In addition, the incumbent renders financial advice and assistance to management.

Qualifications

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to apply analytical methods and techniques to identify and/or resolve complex financial issues.** Ability to use financial computer systems, business intelligence, WebI software applications, and data warehouses for financial analysis work.** Ability to interact collaboratively with others and provide consultation on financial matters, reports and data.** Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
