About the Position: Serve as Project Manager responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of Formerly Used Defense Sites projects of high dollar value of national priority, of environmental sensitivity, of extraordinary urgency, or having similar requirements. Responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, design, construction, and direction of major programs and projects.

Duties

Provide accurate and timely data to include monthly meeting notes, weekly notes, data calls and assure project schedules are updated monthly. Communicate and interact with stakeholders, Federal agencies, state and local government agencies and others in sharing of lessons learned, process improvements and issue resolution as applicable. Provide strategic problem solving and direction to Project Delivery Team members on Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) project-specific issues. Address issues at the lowest level and keep supervisory chain and customers informed in a timely manner. Serve as the FUDS Project Manager for execution of planning, design, construction and long-term monitoring phases of various and diverse FUDS projects. Ensure that assigned tasks, suspense’s, and inquiries are responded to in accordance with identified suspense dates. Distributes FUDS program funds to Project Delivery Team elements, consistent with progress attained, and measures and monitors performance to assure commitments of all parties are being maintained. Develops FUDS project scope, schedule, budgets, reports, and project changes to ensure the project is executed within scope and schedule and in accordance with the Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP).

Note: To support the Time in Grade (TIG) requirement you must submit a copy of your latest non-award SF-50/NPA that reflects your highest grade held on a permanent basis along with your application/resume package. Failure to do so may affect your rating or consideration for employment.
