You will serve as a COLLECTION RESOURCE MANAGER in the Integrated Joint Fires Center (J8IJF), Joint Innovation and Experimentation Division (J81), Requirements and Resources Directorate (J8), of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Duties

You will develop and incorporate multi-intelligence (Multi-INT) collection strategies based upon asset and platform capabilities to provide comprehensive approaches to bridge intelligence gaps. You will provide technical advice, legal, and administrative guidance regarding ISR activities. You will direct available assets and requests national assets in support of All-Domain targeting plans and force protection to achieve joint effects throughout the lndo-Pacific AOR. You will coordinate with subordinate joint forces, sub-unified commands, service components, and functional components to ensure contingency and crisis ISR support provides flexible Joint ISR options throughout the AOR.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1.) Identifying, the type (format) of the data available, the accuracy and timeliness characteristics of the data, and segments of the IJFC (Integrated Joint Fires Center) targeting process that benefit from the data; 2.) Working knowledge of Joint Fires planning, policies, processes and procedures along with demonstrated experience in Joint Targeting Cycle planning, execution, and assessment; 3.) Negotiating effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations for command positions on extremely sensitive, highly classified and vitally important capabilities; 4.) Developing and assessing new policies, processes and procedures regarding Joint Campaign, Contingency, and Crisis Action Planning; 5.) Communicating the organization's position on an issue to a broad global audience by telephone, video teleconference, and by traveling to interact personally.
