The Office of Congressional & Intergovernmental Affairs (OCIA) serves as advisor to the Administrator and as the General Services Administration (GSA) liaison with Members of Congress and congressional committees. As a Congressional Services Representative, you will serve as a as a national program expert and as a technical regional specialist, supporting the Congressional Support Program. Location of Position: Martin Luther King, JR Federal Building, 77 Forsyth Street, Atlanta, Georgia  

Duties

We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
  • Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
  • Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
  • Register with the Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959
  • Direct Deposit of salary check to financial organization required.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $109,278 per year.If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.  Specialized experience must be directly related to researching and analyzing a variety of issues and problems related to relations between branches of government, the public and/or other stakeholders at the State and/or Federal levels of government; developing and recommending solutions and courses of action to senior officials; and implementing solutions and strategies effectively across multiple stakeholders in public or private entities.

Education

There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-13 level.
