About the Position: Serves as the Curriculum Manager for the United States Army Warrant Officer Career College (USAWOCC), Warrant Officer Advanced Course (WOAC), Common Core (CC) Distributed Learnig (DL) and Train, Advise, Counsel (TAC) Officer Certification Course (TCC) courses in the Academic Operations Division (AOD). Responsible for executing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evauation (ADDIE) instructional design process.

Duties

Employs extensive knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary for curriculum development and review of training and education products. Reports to the supervisor periodically on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, progress, or difficulties in mastering tasks and work processes and individual and team needs. Develops lesson plans to support resident and non-resident education and training programs for all components and branch cohorts. Reviews, aligns, and ensures course content meets regulatory guidance. Manages Distance Learning (DL) contracts and course development, interactive multimedia instruction IMI). Reviews learning products for functionality and completeness, negotiates contract changes and initiates corrective actions based on needs analysis through surveys. Develops and maintains functional expertise on Student Services and Registrar office systems, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • TDY of 10% may be required for this position.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18.
