About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Recreation activities are abundant in the immediate and surrounding areas for family and fun.

Duties

Serve as the recognized authoritative consultant in aircraft combat survivability. Plan and develop training and assessment programs for aircraft combat forensics training. Coordinate with the Joint Aircraft Survivability Program Office (JCAT) to implement accreditation strategies for individual and collective training. Evaluate the requirements for the development of new Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) for aircraft combat survivability training. Train and equip combat assessment teams for worldwide deployment.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Travel required 25% of the time.
• The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret (SCI) security clearance.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter.
