About the Position: This position is in the Contract Cost Management Division within AIM and serves as a principal advisor to the Executive Director of AIM and the other directorates throughout the organization.
Duties
Serve as a principal advisor to the Executive Director, AIM and other directors throughout the organization.
Conduct specialized studies and projects on assigned missions, functions, programs, and processes.
Consult with Directorate and field activities to ensure implementation of policy and procedure revisions are achieved.
Monitor and analyzes ASC contract cost, planning, and funding policies on ASC programs.
Provide guidance, assistance, and overall direction to the Executive Director and management team.
Represent the Executive Director on various Command-level working groups (Operational Planning Teams, Integrated Planning Teams).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- This is a designated Critical Acquisition Position.
- Must sign an Acquisition Corps written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for at least 3 years.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes collecting, analyzing and approving sources of cost data and analytical information; developing analytical and narrative data to justify any changes and recommendations; preparing and presenting findings, options, and recommendations for contract costs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
