About the Position: Serves as a senior G-3/7 Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) (DAMO-TRR) Staff Officer and subject matter expert for ReARMM.
Duties
Develop Readiness and Modernization Model (ReARMM) requirements to support training strategies.
Manage existing processes and authoritative systems to deliver ReARMM capabilities to the field.
Ensure synchronization of policy governing training.
Assist in establishing policy governing training programs/activities as it applies to the Global Force Management model.
Document recommendations to senior decision makers.
Develop alternative approaches to communicate and market the agency’s missions.
Monitor program requirements to ensure they are properly represented in the products/reports.
Develop database routines to extract information in a consumable format.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- One year trial period may be required.
- Might sign Term appointment Statement of Understanding.
Qualifications
Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months. Term appointments may be extended beyond of six (6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.
Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees) applying for Term appointments will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in establishing policy governing training programs; developing requirements to support training strategies; presenting recommendations to senior leaders; and providing assurance that training strategies are synchronized in the recorded budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
