You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Marine Forces Reserve/Marine Forces South of MARFORRES NOLA.
Duties
You will execute civilian personnel management functions in such areas as recruitment, classification, performance management, and awards.
You will create Request for Personnel Action (RPA) for recruitments and attach all required information in order to forward for processing.
You will support the Performance Award Review Board (PARB) by providing leadership any information necessary to complete.
You will serve as a point of contact for management status reporting requirements, administering the in and out-processing of civilian personnel, and serve as a liaison to the Human Resources Office.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to
travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing expertise and advising management in resolving issues for civilian manpower actions (i.e. performance evaluations, training, benefits, pay, leave, and/or other technical manpower issues); AND utilizing federal government manpower management and/or administrative data systems (i.e. Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS); USA Staffing; Avue; Onboarding Provisioning and Asset Tracking System; and USA Jobs); and conducting and participating in special studies on organizational structure to improve an organization.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or
LL.M., if related
