Duties

Maintains Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) property books and assists the Installation Property Book Officer (IPBO). Manages primary hand receipts (PHRs), Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs) document registers, requisitions, records in connection with property inventories and other property book transactions. Coordinates efforts for accuracy and compliance with the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) within the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC). Review requests to ensure proper identification, cost, justification, and compliance with pertinent requisition procedures, to detect exact item identification, authorization of acceptable substitute items. Submits purchase requests for items from commercial sources. Extract authorized items for requisition action or local purchase. Establishes descriptive nomenclature and line numbers for purchase of items using AESIP. Research database for property identification and submits requests for cataloging specifications identifying non-standard items to catalog items in GCSS-A. Compile data and provide necessary information to equipment specialists. Prepare and edit requisitions, turn-ins, transfers, receiving reports and other documents.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) assisting with maintaining organizational property books; 2) assisting with extractions of authorized items for requisition action or local purchase; 3) submitting purchase requests for items from commercial sources; and 4) managing hand receipts, Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPLs), and property book records. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
