You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the MARINE CORP LOGISTICS COMMAND of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will participate in planning and conducting analytical studies of organizations or significant segments of several major management functions.
You will consult and coordinate with senior analysts and management to advise on proposed reorganizations, realignment of functions, or recruitment actions.
You will assist and advise management on efficient use of positions and employees based on competencies.
You will present findings, options and recommendations.
You will monitor workforce development program status through the use of readily available data.
You will ensure technical documentation is reviewed for compliance.
You will ensure contract requirements are in final status and available prior to scheduled training.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be Recalled to Duty outside of normal working hours.
- This position requires which requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assists senior management analysts with planning for studies involving the structure and/or functions of organizations with Interrelated work processes and functions, to resolve substantive problems affecting competency, training and development needs and, based on competency assessments, propose new curriculums/training opportunities in order to close competency gaps.
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, fiscal, administrative, data specifications, quality assurances, and resource utilization.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
GS-07
1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
