About the Position: Performs duties as the Material Manager, has the expert knowledge of and is directly responsible for command supply and logistics for the organization which include establishing, executing, and monitoring operations for purchase requests for the multi-class Supply Support Activity (SSA) within The Army Aviation Brigade (TAAB).

Duties

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of management reports generated on the End User Workstation and identifies problem areas and viable solutions. Develop database structures for conducting periodic review and analysis to determine problematic trends in supply support performance. Perform functional analysis of supply problems and determines courses of action to resolve problem areas. Provide logistical and financial guidance to Resource Managers as it pertains to funding of all classes of supply within Global Combat Supply System Army. Perform the operation of Global Combat Supply System Army supply management functions of Release Strategy Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) daily activities, stock posture, and order review. Develop plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementPlanning and EvaluatingSupply Support Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and minimum qualification requirements prescribed by OPM within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
