You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the Joint Intermediate Force Capabilities Office of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will serve as a Civilian Principal Deputy and Senior Advisor to the Director, JIFCO, on matters related to policy and strategy, in general, overall program planning and special topics of interests. You will work with the Joint Staff to identify strategic issues, formulates and adopt strategies and plans to manage the issues. You will identify policy issues unique to non-lethal; weapon capabilities, including those issues associated with introducing emerging technologies as non-lethal capabilities and programs. You will recognize policy guidance, technological development and issues of public interest; initiates, managers and recommends plans to effectively translate non-lethal objectives and language into developing higher guidance.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulate and adopt strategies and plans to manage analytic issues and studies that impact a non-lethal weapons program; and planning, coordinating, developing guidance for leading comprehensive analysis and objectives affecting the overall integration of a non-lethal weapons program/intermediate force capabilities.
