As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as a Team Manager for Program Implementation Management Team in the Central Service Center, Planning and Requirements Group.
Duties
Directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/project/programs and across multiple function and/or disciplines within a major subdivision.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- May be terminated at any time, extended, or made permanent without further competition.
- Security Requirement: Moderate Risk (5). This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation prior to appointment, unless a waiver is obtained. Subject to a 5 year period reinvestigation.
Qualifications
Specialized ExperienceCandidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the (FV-J or FG/GS-14) level that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience includes:• Program and project management experience in federal programs involving acquisition, deployment, sustainment, improvement of facilities using capital investment program funding. Specialized aviation technical knowledge, skills, and abilities; and project management skills are required.
