You will serve as a Program Analyst at MARITIME EXPEDITIONARY SECURITY GRP 2 of MARITIME EXPEDITIONARY SECURITY GRP 2.

Duties

You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Maritime Expeditionary Security Force. You will oversee the performance of special studies, projects, assignments and analysis in response to the operational needs or problems. You will perform assessments and inspections in order to determine current condition of equipment being used to perform Maritime Security and Convoy Operations. You will provide, as necessary, current equipment inventory and allowance for all Maritime Expeditionary Security Group TWO (MESG 2) Echelon V commands. You will conduct materiel readiness assessments on Civil Engineering Support Equipment and be the lead inspector for all MESG 2 Material Readiness Assessments. You will conduct tool audits in conjunction with the material readiness schedule and interface with subordinate units and external organizations regarding METCAL and Tool Control programs, technical updates, deletions and modifications. You will provide planning, coordination, direction and control of Table of Allowance Program operations, Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) program management, Force-Wide Tool Control Programs and Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Programs.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations to improve the effectiveness of program operations. - Experience applying qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to the measurement and improvement of organizational productivity. - Experience conducting inspections and assessments regarding Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) and various civil engineering equipment to support Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) missions. - Allocating and disposing as necessary all equipment inventory throughout MESG 2 commands and conducting Intermediate and Depot level maintenance on all Table of Allowance (TOA) inventory. - Experience performing assessments and inspections to determine current condition of equipment being used to perform Maritime Security and Convoy Operations.
