About the Position: This posiiton is located with the 406th Army Field Support Brigade Log Readiness Ctr, Fort Novosel, Alabama
Duties
Plans, directs, integrates, manages, and administers a supply program involving functional areas of inventory management, authorization, requisitioning, purchase, receipt, storage, distribution and disposal for multiple classes of supplies.
Provides guidance and assists in several inventory/accountability areas.
Serves as the Consolidated Installation Property Book Office subject matter expert and executes an effective supply/property management program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (Secret) Investigation.
- This position may require the incumbent to travel TDY up to 10% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes ) Performing inventory management of property; 2) planning, managing, and/or coordinating supply programs; 3) record keeping for item and financial accountability of materiel and/or services and 4) maintaining automated property book accountability systems for the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
