About the Position: This position is located with the Central Network team out of San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Ensures alignment with law, regulation, and policy through Clinical Quality Management programs and processes. Utilizes analysis to make recommendation for the direction and standardization of processes. Recommends assessments and process improvements to improve healthcare service delivery. Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques to lead and/or implement clinical quality planning activities. Identifies instances of waste and/or inefficiency to improve performance measures and business processes. Collaborates with leadership to implement and consolidate quality and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Up to 25% Business Travel required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) assisting with the management of quality and/or improvement programs; 2) ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements of a health clinic, hospital, or medical setting; AND 3) analyzing healthcare processes to identify inefficiencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
