About the Position: You will serve as a Program Integrator rated Military Aviator with duty station in Fort Irwin/San Bernardino California. Responsible for monitoring activities of major aircraft programs and projects for the director/deputy providing assistance and guidance.
Duties
Serve as a rated Military Aviator while providing aircraft maintenance operations. Oversee flight operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
Utilized a thorough knowledge of, and experience in, Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) supported weapon systems, platforms, required maintenance and sustainment operations to support the customer.
Provide operational and /or technical assistance regarding problems related to flight and ground operations which cannot be resolved at the tactical level.
Monitors activities of major aircraft programs and projects for the director/deputy providing assistance and guidance as to courses of action at the executive level.
Ensure contact compliance are within regulations by evaluating contractor's procedures, performance of delegations, and maintenance requirements for assigned aircraft.
Requirements

- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
- This position requires the incumbent to travel in a temporary duty status approximately 50% of the time.
- Must be able to pass and maintain an Annual Physical.
- Must be a rated military aviator
- This position requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid Official Passport.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
- Incumbent must be able to possess and maintain a Government Credit Card.
- Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, Condition of employment for certain Civilian position Identified as Critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing as the Program Integrator authority and/or consultant on all aspects of flight support mission activities with the region of assignment. Provide coordination for continuous evaluation of contract administration, aviation safety, training, maintenance operation and needs effective status of weapons systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
