This is position is in The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Secretary (OST), Office of the Assistant Secretary for Budget and Programs and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Office of the OST Chief Financial Officer. The mission of the Office of the OST Chief Financial Officer ensures the Department has sound financial management policies, standards and systems consistent with DOT goals and programs to ensure the financial info needs of both internal/external customers are met.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience developing, executing, and managing technology on a financial modernization initiative for a variety of financial management areas.
Experience interpreting and implementing government planning, enterprise architecture, information technology security, budget and management requirements for Federal information systems and the ability to ensure that these requirements are fully applied to financial and financial-related systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Project Management - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.
Technical Competence - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues.
