You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS INSTALLATIONS COMMAND of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.

Duties

You will perform and advise on budget administration including the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities and review and evaluate budget requests. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to meet DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification requirements applicable to the duties of this position.
• This position is a local remote approved position. Selectee must be located within the commute area of the command upon entry to duty.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles or standards to financial management; overseeing the execution of procedures and systems that maintain financial, force structure and manpower data, and statistical files for comparative analysis.
