You will serve as a DATA SCIENTIST in the Security Cooperation Data Management Office of NIPO FMS FIELD OFFICE.
Duties
You will serve as the Data Analysis and Report Lead within the IPO-06 Directorate, Navy International Programs Office.
You will participate in the development of overall system requirements and data standards, and support business process reengineering efforts.
You will apply a combination of computational and machine learning methods to new or big data-driven organizational solutions
You will interpret large and/or complex data sets to develop date-driven organizational solutions using data visualization using tools (e.g., Tableau, Raphael.js, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Databricks, Qlik...)
You will analyze a variety of data sources to provide data-driven insights to the organization to streamline business processes.
You will analyze management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology.

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This a Defense Acquisition Workforce position that requires a Engineering, Technology Management, Foundational acquisition certification. Incumbent must obtain and maintain certification in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.66.
- Acquisition Workforce (AWF) members must complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66.
- In accordance with Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program 2.0 requirements, incumbent must meet DoD SCW certification requirements applicable to the duties of this position.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Applying principles, concepts, and practices to perform routine assignments in data science analysis;
Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and provide data-centric solutions; and
Providing oversight of multiple projects, integrating dependent schedules and deliverables, and related activities.

Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.
