Duties

You will be responsible for applying knowledge of math, science, and engineering methodology and practices to solve a variety of component level through system of system level technical problems. You will lead research, design, development, test and deployment activities for Command, Control, Computers, Communication, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Business Information Technology (IT) systems and capabilities. You will assist NIWC Atlantic and its customers construct AI programs, establish and grow partnerships, and gain awareness of other data solutions. You will implement Data Science and Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence concepts and algorithms to ensure data-centric problems are solved effectively and efficiently.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead and develop strategies for the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to include Machine Learning (ML) in projects across intelligence, business, readiness and defense domains.
