You will serve as an ADMINSITRATIVE SPECIALIST in the NAVWAR BUDGET DIVISION of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Duties
You will plan, coordinate and prepare annual appropriated budgets for general funded programs within NAVWAR Headquarters
Formulate and/or review budgets for assigned programs related to General Fund programs funded by Research and Development, Other Procurement Navy,
and Weapons Procurement Navy appropriations (R/D, OPN and WPN).
You will participate in internal and external hearings as needed.
You will provide input to budget guidance materials as required.
You will respond to budget marks or Resource Management Decisions (RMDs) within established timelines.
You will Interpret funding policies and guidance for General Fund R and D, OPN, WPN, OMN and OMNR appropriations.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, analyzing, and preparing the annual resource budgets; monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the execution of those budgets, and the efficient use of resources allocated..
