About the Position: As Transformation Initiatives Integrator, responsible for FORSCOM's role in executing Army transformation initiatives. Perform in depth analysis in areas of Army operational and tactical areas involving the integration and synchronization of war fighting and support structures, systems, and policy. Fort Liberty is a culturally diverse area with rural and city populations, co-located at Fayetteville, NC centrally located in the beautiful state of North Carolina.
Duties
Plans, organizes, and conducts diverse projects and tasks both simultaneously and iteratively.
Evaluates Command's equities and support requirements, measures and presents potential courses of action/responses, and provides advice and counsel to the Command Group.
Develops concepts, produces operations orders and carry the effort through prototype and/or initial execution.
Uses highly developed interpersonal skills necessary for coordination and interactions at general officer and senior civilian executive level.
Contributes to the production of detailed staff papers, briefings, information, and developmental guidance to higher, adjacent and subordinate staffs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position is subject for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs, a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter.
- Incumbent may be required to complete a one-year probationary period.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1). Operational and technical subject matter expertise in managing transformation initiatives including organization concepts, command and support relationships, global force management, and total force policy; 2). Knowledge of policy and authorities governing command specific missions and functions; 3). Ability to develop innovative, thoughtful options for senior leaders and to present those options in persuasive, concise and clear written / briefing products; 4). Ability to write execution/fragmentary orders including associated annexes prepared in Power Point and Microsoft Word formats and memorandums of agreement. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
