You will serve as a E-LEARNING DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST in the Training and Education Department, Education Planning and Integration Division of NAVMEDFORSUPCMD FT SAM.

Duties

You will use E-learning authoring software to generate interactive course prototypes for approval processes. You will use a systematic approach to development to ensure compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements. You will execute the lifecycle process of E-learning programs and implements design changes. You will use a variety of E-learning authoring software to generate interactive course prototypes for approval processes. You will use oral and written communication to develop products and work with team members and outside customer entities. You will use problem solving skills, willing work as team, take suggestions and find flexible ways to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade GS-11 level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience consulting with the instructional systems specialist to develop or modify new and existing integrated E-learning courseware, training, multimedia components, and performance support products for Navy Medicine personnel. Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining E-learning programs including web-based training courseware and other forms of online training. Experience generating the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant packaged quiz-based E-learning output programing packages and submits them to an external learning management system (LMS). Experience using practical application of instructional design principles and a systems approach to training (e.g. Analyze, Design, Develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE), Agile Instructional Design, Blooms Taxonomy, etc.).   1. Degree: that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position.

    or

  2. Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described in A above.
