About the Position: In this position, you will serve in the Technical Resources Branch, Contract Coordination Section. Leading up to and at the full performance level, you will assist various divisions within Portland District related to Architect-Engineer & Professional Services contracts.

Duties

Work with a Product Delivery Team and the Contracting Division to perform cost and price analysis and support negotiations of task orders and modifications. Consult and assist senior management on the development, coordination, maintenance, and implementation of initiatives associated with ISO9001. Review design and engineering requirements to develop an understanding of the project and activity to support development of required documentation. Maintain and analyze monthly status reports and manage payment processing.

OR Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above. Minimum Qualifications GS-09: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) utilizing various database(s) to maintain concise, accurate records of architect/engineering and professional service contracts and task orders; 2.) coordinating with Project Managers and technical support staff on contracts and on funding requirements; 3.) manipulating and updating various data fields within project software, spreadsheets, and databases spanning multiple projects, funding accounts, task orders, and contractors. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, organization and business management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
