A successful candidate in this position will serve as a Program Analyst to be responsible for providing wide-ranging multi-program management support and senior level program analysis expertise within the Office of Defense Programs (NA-10), Production Support Division (NA-121-2).
Duties
As a Program Analyst you will perform the following duties:
Serve as a resident program analyst for organizations with program, budget, cost, funding, and contractual activities; and is responsible for providing wide-ranging multiprogram management support and senior level program analysis expertise within the NA-10's program
of record.
Provide programmatic direction in the management and coordination of day-to day operations across the geographically dispersed M&O contractors, serving as the focal point on matters pertaining to planning, integrating, and executing policies, programs, and procedures for carrying out the organization's mission.
Develop long-range budget estimates for programs in close coordination with site offices, site subject matter experts, and site budget analysts in accordance with annual budget guidance and schedules supporting the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Evaluation process.
Serve as an authoritative subject matter expert and advisor to the Director and staff to resolve emerging issues and problems.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band level or GS grade level in the Federal Service, i.e.,EN/NN-02, NQ-02, GS-11. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Must Meet 3 out of 4 Specialized Experiences Below:
Experience with PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting and and Execution) process
Experience with program management with nuclear weapon space
Experience with communication with senior ranking officials
Experience with coordinating briefings to internal and external stakeholders
