You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. Duties

You will provide dedicated and centralized support to program budgets for critical programs, including facilities, office supplies and equipment, vehicles, accountable property, communications services and devices, travel, etc. You will serve as the subject matter expert for an office concerning vehicles, correspondence, scheduling, purchasing, security-related matters, and Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) administrator. You will identify, compile, extract, interpret, integrate, evaluate and apply information from variety of sources, perform management and measurement assignments, report findings, draw conclusions, and solve an array of program analysis problems. You will prepare administrative/program guidance, reports, letters, memos and forms, and review these types of documents. You will review and evaluate completed staff actions (i.e., memos, correspondence, reports, studies, fact sheets, information papers, etc.) for overall quality of the document, appropriate levels of coordination, and compliance with policies. You will prepare case files for Special Agents and Investigators and ensure files are maintained, updated, and purged in accordance with policy and conduct research in databases and provide results to Special Agents and Managers. You will coordinate disposal of all associated case evidence upon case closure and ensure most current Evidence Custody Documents (ECDs) are retained in case files. You will advise field office program managers/activities on deficiencies and work with them to develop corrective actions. You will advise leadership on program performance measurements and processes, data research, assessments, and other program performance issues affecting the assigned office(s).

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support which includes office budgeting, property management, arranging travel, data processing and files management, time and attendance issues; and Providing support with report writing and submitting entries into databases. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative support to include supporting personnel with data processing, case and records management, property management, budget-accounts tracking, timekeeping, transportation and travel arrangements. Education

GS-09 Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related

GS-07 Education: 1 full year of graduate level education

or

superior academic achievement
