You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the CDR, NAVAL CONSTRUCTION GROUP TWO of 20THNAVALCONSTRREG.

Duties

You will ensure commands are properly managing inventory of TOA allowance and equipped to perform all missions in support of Major Combat Operations (MCOs) and to sustain itself or other units. You will serve as the Readiness Program Manager for the Equipment (E)/Supply (S) pillars for unit readiness for all relevant units. You will provide support to all units under position charge by coordinating and analytical evaluation of the TOA inventory management system monthly or as needed and formulate recommendations for improvement. You will serve as the principal Disposition liaison with DLA on matters of rendering CESE, NON CESE, and other items for disposal, accumulation, turn in, and management. You will perform a broad variety of task and functions developing and maintaining reports and briefings for TOA inventory and property accountability system management and readiness. You will provide direction and aid to subordinate units in completing property accountability and inventory management and reporting.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience interpreting regulations and policies for potential impact to the command capabilities in order to maintain inventory property accountability management systems and readiness requirements. Experience coordinating, analyzing and maintaining current inventory management system program operations, user access, training, data input and inspections which provides an Accountable Property System of Record (APSR). Experience providing technical support to applicable units regarding inventory management and providing assistance to resolve problems of a technical nature. Experience utilizing automatic data processing procedures in order to ensure efficient mechanized reporting, documentation and management of military logistics materials. Experienced using systems such as RCRP, Microsoft Office Visual Basic and Excel to update, change, or improve reporting data. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
