You will serve as a LEAD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION within the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Duties
You will serve as a senior level engineering technician, project manager and team lead in Facilities Support Branch of the Infrastructure Division of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport.
You will be responsible for project concept, planning, design, scope, and budget, on a wide variety of facility and infrastructure sustainment and modernization projects, customer-driven upgrades, and equipment installation projects.
You will ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations including the Americans with Disabilities Act, OSHA, EM-385, and State and Federal air quality regulations.
You will be responsible for providing project leadership and technical direction to a small group of full performance, professionals, junior professionals, and/or technical assistants.
You will plan, schedule, coordinate or conduct a project or detailed phase of a large project providing technical direction, reviews and advice.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying engineering technology concepts and practices to evaluate planning and design processes for the maintenance or modernization of facilities.
