You will serve as a Supervisory Technician in the Electronics Repair Branch of the Undersea & Combat Systems Depot Division of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA). As the Branch Manager for the Electronics Repair Branch, you will perform supervisory and management functions for a team of electronics technicians and provide leadership and direction to meet workload and production requirements in support of depot level maintenance actions.
Duties
You will manage government electronics technicians and other branch personnel.
You will provide for management and evaluation of contractor performance.
You will develop, implement, and manage professional growth programs that improve electric/electronics skills for those assigned to the branch.
You will develop and manage workforce shaping strategies considering existing and future work profiles, customers, and requirements ensuring sufficient technical support for internally and externally assigned work.
You will develop and sustain relationships with senior management, labor relations organizations, and the workforce.
You will perform Resource Manager functions including the development, approval, and revision of procedures, standard operating processes, facility planning/improvements, etc.
You will plan for future workloads that focus on maximizing operational availability and reliability while minimizing cost.
You will be required to demonstrate proactive and collaborative technical leadership with other organizations/representatives including Project Managers, Quality Assurance, other Branch Heads, other divisions, and their representatives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical engineering advice and guidance (e.g., working in a leadership capacity) to ensure electrical/electronic-related maintenance actions oversight.
