About the Position: This position serves as a Concepts and Experimentation Analyst in the Army Futures Command (AFC), HQ Chief of Staff Directorate located in Huntsville, AL. Duties

Responsible for the coordination and development of future weapon system concepts, functional concepts, and Operational and Organizational (O and O) concepts. Leading, designing, managing, integrating, and assessing CFT participation in Army and Joint experiments to support current and future concept and capabilities development across the organization. Attends Working Group meetings to ensure continuous coordination and synchronization with Future Force Modernization Enterprise (FFME) community. Expert and comprehensive knowledge of the sustainment warfighting function to include systems and subsystems pertaining to all facets of the mission area to support material capability development. A thorough understanding of the operational art of war, doctrine, tactics and military organizations and employment of weapon systems, sensors, munitions and mission command capabilities.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires a Secret security clearance.
  • Business Travel (TDY) may be required up to 25% of the time.
  • Two year probationary period may be required if not previously served.
