About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

Duties

Evaluates higher headquarters' taskings as they affect ATRRS, determines projected scheduling impacts, drafts responses, and coordinates final response with supervisor and leadership. Schedules and participates in the installation's pre-SMDR conference with organizational training activities. Prepares detailed information booklets for the SMDR attendees. Reviews the resulting ARPRINT upon completion of the SMDR to ensure accuracy of data. Assist with developing class schedules, plot holidays, and research historical trends to determine training start dates and seat placement by using ATRRS and the DTMS Course Manager module scheduling parameters. Applies knowledge of training agreements with other services and installations, summer surge, and scheduling policies and procedures. Liaises between CCoE G-3/5/7, and Cyber School, and the Cyber Noncommissioned Officers Academy (CNCOA) when developing responses to TRAP requests and determining training seat allocations and requirements.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • The employee may on occasion be required to work hours other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • The incumbent may be required to participate in readiness tests, mobilization exercises, and field training exercises.
  • The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Single Scope Background Investigation (TS/SSBI) with access to Secret Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • The incumbent must be able to possess and maintain access to Intelligence Community facilities and networks.
  • Financial disclosure is required for this position. Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement
  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
  • The incumbent is required to sign DA Form 5019-R and must pass urinalysis testing, as required, prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 10 percent of the time.

This position is in the Technician/Administrative Support Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by (1) assisting in the development of accurate data for Army Training Requirements and Resources Systems (ATRRS), (2) managing class schedules and research trends to determine training start dates and seat placements, (3) recommending policies and methods to improve scheduling procedures, contributing to the preparation of memorandums to directorates and brigades. (4) Utilizing various software products and DA systems, prepares statistical data, charts, and graphs containing inputs and training loads on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
