About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence - Signal School at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Reviews and assesses the impact of changes in policy, resource allocations, personnel authorizations, adjustments to training loads, and emerging training requirements to avoid deficiencies/constraints in the Signal School training program.
Negotiates for adequate resources to accomplish current and future operational missions.
Coordinates with the CCOE G-3/5/7, elements of US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Headquarters, the chief information officer (CIO)/G-6, and Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).
Conducts monthly reconciliation meetings with CCOE’s Directorate of Resource Management (DRM) G-8 to ensure effective allocation, distribution, and execution of funds.
Reviews training programs, initiatives, and future training requirements, advising the Signal School Headquarters on resources required, resources programmed, and any gaps/constraints to meet the Signal School training program.
Reviews and edits narrative justifications for projected funding needs, ensuring requested data and information is concisely and accurately organized, compiled, and presented.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.
- Incumbent of this position must submit DD Form 450, Confidential Statement of Employment and Financial Interest.
- Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 5 percent of the time.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) Coordinating work requirements within an organization to ensure training requirements are met, 2) Conducting reconciliation of funds to ensure effective allocation, distribution, and execution, 3) Managing administration of contracts for instructional personnel and services, and 4) Analyzing training requirements, strategies, and plans, to ensure the appropriate training is administered.
