About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.

Duties

Manages the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE) and the installation individual training program for student personnel. Develops and ensures accuracy of data entered on the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) summary sheets and the primary working documents for the annual Headquarters Dept. of the Army (HQDA) Structure Monitors course schedules to ensure training is conducted in accordance with the correct POI length and scheduled class size. Maintains installation policy for submitting requests for class graduation acceleration and changes to class schedules and coordinates the approval/disapproval of requests from personnel.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 5 percent of the time.
  • This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Appointment to this position does not confer competitive status.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe 1 Year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. Provides guidance to subordinate users on the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) and the Training Management Scheduling System (TMSS) site for continuing education purposes. 2. Verifying Structured Manning Decision Review (SMDR) date and Army Program of Individual Training (ARPRINT) results on subordinates. 3. Ensures all services are represented according to the agreements with the Training Review Organization (ITRO) for the command. 4. Schedule personnel on the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) to ensure education for personnel is completed on time. 5. Prepare Briefs and Reports on command for the 06/GS-15 level leaders. 6. Aligning resources to make quota adjustments and identifying constraints to the training program to improve personnel education. 7. Establishing, Evaluating and Analyzing individuals training programs to ensure completion using the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS).
