About the Position: This Position serves as a Program Manager (Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations) for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command Security Operations Training Facility.
Duties
Support strategic multi-layer analysis efforts and evaluates the potential of technical capabilities to meet operational requirements.
Advise superiors on sensitive policy Issues and problems, make recommendations in critical areas, and initiate authoritative professional action as necessary.
Participate in the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations deliberate planning and execution process supporting other commands, organizations, and agencies.
Establish and maintain the Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations security posture, to include all aspects of personnel, physical, information, and computer security.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position has been designated as "Emergency-Essential". Additional training, medical requirements, and deployment responsibilities may apply to this position.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Deployable Physical Examination.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent to be on call and may require frequent overtime at unusual times (nights, holidays, and weekends).
