Duties
Ensure requisitions are input into DMLSS and manages assigned items, which may include one or more of the following: standard, specialized, stocked and fringe medical items.
Conduct searches for identifying or management data on items of supply in the Master Medical Catalog (MMC).
Compare data listed on documents with reference sources such as federal and medical catalogs, stock lists, vendor catalogs or other publications.
Receive requests desiring additional identification data, verification, or comparison with referenced sources.
Conducts search for stock numbers, descriptions, sources of supply, or other data to effect materiel standardization.
Identify available sources for non-typical purchases of products and supplies and ensure they are obtained from the best value sources.
Maintain an IMPAC Credit Card for micro purchases and 25K authority. Maintains General Fund Enterprise Business (GFEBs) accountability for all credit card transactions.
Coordinate with Budget for approval/closure.
The incumbent monitors and initiates purchase actions. Serves as the IMSA $25K Credit Card Holder; authorized to commit government funds at a high level of responsibility.
Use a micro purchase card with a limit of $3,500.00 per purchase.
Perform monthly back-order review. Performs credit card reconciliation for all purchases initiated during the billing cycle and any previous outstanding purchases.
Interpret service contracts and Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) type contracts that are extremely complex with thousands of line items per contract.
Assist customers in determining stock replenishment for supplies and other materials for centrally controlled items.

Term NTE: 13 Months
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting inventory, providing customer assistance, and maintaining supply records This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
OR
Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as supply chain management or logistics.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
