You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the TRAINING SUPPORT CENTER of CTR FOR EXPL ORD DISP DIV.
Duties
You will maintain files or records to keep documents organized according to the organization's polices or procedures.
You will establish and maintain administrative tracking and reporting systems and ensure timely submission of reports to avoid missed deadlines.
You will use automated systems to assist management officials with personnel actions.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
For the GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using automated administrative systems, applications, and databases such as Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) and Fleet Training Management and Planning System (FLTMPS) to support students; 2) Providing Manpower and personnel support by using website and operating systems such as Master Military Pay Account (MMPA) to compete pay and personnel transactions; 3)Monitoring administrative tasks using a database such as Navy Tracker as well as drafting and editing correspondence to complete clerical duties; 4) Maintaining records, entering information, extracting data, producing reports, and updating documents; and 5) Identifying administrative issues and recommending solutions after studying factors and conditions.
For the GS-06:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in preparing, receiving, reviewing, and verifying documents; 2) Maintaining office records to support timely and efficient operations; 3) Compiling data or information using administrative computer programs and systems; and 4) Providing customer service and problem solving.
