Duties
As a Senior Public Health Analyst (Policy/Partnerships) you will:
Serve as a key strategic advisor to senior leaders in the Office of Performance and Evaluation by conducting key analyses that support the development of strategic initiatives to ensure that Office of Policy, Performance and Evaluation (OPPE) activities improve the public health and policy impact of CDC and its programs.
To advance CDC partnership initiatives, serves as one of several OPPE staff members who work to identify and develop innovative strategic partnerships to further programmatic impact and yearly strategic planning priorities.
Work with Senior leadership on strategic initiatives relative to inter-agency and external partnerships.
Routinely participates in bi-direction information exchanges with other OPPE staff who also work on strategic partnerships.
As a senior public health policy professional, performs independent public health policy research, and or public health policy evaluation, as well as other programmatic activities to further CDC's goals and objectives related to public health

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, which must include the following experience: communicating with Agency leadership at CDC and high-level external partners around public health issues management and partnerships, analyzing public health issues, and developing oral and written briefings for decision makers.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience..
Education
Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
College or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a list of schools which meet these criteria, please refer to
