You will serve as a Program Analyst International Military Student Officer in the Training Air Wing FOUR of TRAWING FOUR.
Duties
You will be responsible for the administration, management, and oversight of all Security Cooperation Education and Training Program matters.
You advise leadership on Language, Regional Expertise and Culture (LREC) training programs and policies.
You will be the TRAWNING specialist and advisor for the Security Assistance Program.
You will advise on needed improvements within the organizational structure, functional assignments, and procedures to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness in mission accomplishment.
You will establish policies and procedures to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment.
You will serve as an analytical expert within and outside an organization to develop solutions to problems.
You will analyze program management policies, concepts, practices, or principles to develop recommendations for improvement in operations.
You will conduct program reviews and studies to evaluate program adherence to laws, rules, and regulations.
You will direct others in the implementation of process improvements training.
You will advise managers on performance issues requiring corrective action or supplemental training.
You will oversee the execution of an international program for an organization.
You will prepare budgetary documentation or reports based on program analysis.
You will prepare documents to communicate the results of studies or analyses to diverse audiences.
You will advise leadership on courses of action and/or offer recommendations to military and civilian staff involving language, cultural, religious, disciplinary problems, and other sensitive areas.
You will coordinate with program managers, country liaison officers, and home country officials when students require additional training time in order to complete training.
You will serve as the interface between the International Military Students (IMS) and local vendors and other agencies that provide assistance and/or services to the IMS.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: 2.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating or assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of an International Military Student training program by analyzing program information and identifying problems within a military and civilian organization.
