You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST for the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, Plans and Requirements of CNATRA.

Duties

You will directly supervise the Resources and Production Planning, Aviation Operations, Aviator Production, and Requirements division staff through subordinate senior military and civilian managers. You will identify actual and potential business, technical, and personnel management problems and recommend or initiate corrective action. You will initiate or recommend the full range of personnel actions and ensure equality in determining qualifications, selections, assignments, training, promotions, details, discipline, awards and other personnel actions. You will act as principal advisor on all aviator training and resource functions and as the barrier mediator to address issues that can adversely impact aviation production and safety. You will serve as expert planner, analyst and advisor on program cost analysis, annual, and multi-year and long-range fiscal and program planning issues. You will measure and evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and compliance within established strategic objectives and guidance.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing or managing the operational, fiscal, or personnel resources of an aviation student production and training program to analyze efficiency and deficiency for the resolution of problems or to ensure effective service delivery.
