You will serve as a Production Program Specialist in the Production Resources Process Division, Production Resources Department, of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.


You will perform analytical work related to the development and/or execution of the less complex phases of production programs. You will advise on program progress and makes recommendations based on established and accepted practices concerning the modification of program goals, objectives, and milestones. You will perform production program support duties such as: gathers and reviews a variety of narrative and/or statistical data to prepare reports. You will assist with reviewing policies, procedures, and processes for production programs. You will assist in the analysis of delays and impacts and formulate recommendations and mitigations.

  • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing production data (e.g., performance; people, processes, innovation, and consolidation; logistics) to identify adverse trends and inefficiencies and recommend new processes and mitigations to improve program effectiveness. For the GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing production program support (e.g., monitor program services, assess program delays); gathering and evaluating production data (e.g., performance; people, processes, innovation, and consolidation; logistics) and generating reports to ensure performance improvement.
