You will serve as a PRODUCTION SUPERINTENDENT in the Guam Implementation Team, Executive Support Staff, of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will oversee the management of the departments administrative support services.
You will work closely with departmental leadership to develop and execute annual division budgets to support shipyard requirements.
You will ensure that funding appropriation and procurement of materials and equipment meet compliance requirements and specifications for the support of major acquisition and maintenance programs.
You will maintain shipyard communication pertaining to existing state, roadblocks, and future state of revitalization efforts amongst several stakeholders.
You will be responsible for the tasking of shipyard support facilities to ensure infrastructure can meet the naval maintenance mission of the future.
You will develop maintenance concepts, including forecasting usage rates, and establishing initial repair and replacement factors.
You will develop new techniques, criteria, and information involving the repair, maintenance, or modification of equipment, facilities, facility operations, or services.
You will analyze changes in programs, technological developments, events that cannot be predicted, or conflicting requirements to decide what needs to be done and how best to do it.
You will work closely with Shipyard Departmental representatives to design schedules, remedy facilities problems, and maintain operational and funding requirements.
You will take positive actions for problems which, if not identified in their early stages, would likely lead to significant administrative, technical, or health and safety consequences.
You will determine availability of manpower resources, facilities requirements, and other support functions essential to the accomplishment of the AUKUS Maintenance Activity (AMA) mission.
Requirements

- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, planning, and overseeing program requirements (e.g., facility, equipment, staffing, budget, training, metrics and assessments, support/liaison services) for production operations to ensure the economical and effective completion of shipyard work.
